For COPA90’s documentary series The World’s Cup, presenter Eli Mengem travelled across the globe during the tournament, telling the footballing story of some of the lesser-known teams at the 2026 FIFA World Cup through they food, culture and people.

 

For the Cape Verde episode, The Arc worked remotely with COPA90's filming crew in Cape Verde, as well as the production team in London, to shape hours of footage captured on location into a compelling story for a global audience.

With a deep understanding of football culture and an instinct for finding the emotional moments within a story, the edit focused not just on the game itself, but on the people, places and passion that make football matter.

The result was a documentary episode that brought a unique football story to life and connected with audiences far beyond the pitch.
